Résumé En

A fine group of sculptures in biscuit porcelain, unfortunately slightly damaged, bearing the mark of Niderviller and discovered by Antoine d’Albis, shows characteristics that made Emmanuel de Waresquiel, a historian, specialised in Joseph Fouché, about whom he recently wrote two books, think that the sculptures might be a representation of the “ Republican Marriage” instituted by Fouché in 1793.
