La délégation logicielle et la reconfiguration des pratiques rédactionnelles : le cas meltygroup

À partir d’une monographie portant sur l’organisation logistique et managériale d’un média en ligne, cet article présente un exemple de modèle productif gouverné en partie par un ensemble d’agents logiciels. Leur est notamment « délégué » un certain nombre de décisions concernant aussi bien la production proprement dite que la valorisation des activités. Ce faisant, ils contribuent à configurer significativement les pratiques professionnelles des personnels du média en question. Toutefois, l’article soutient que la compréhension de l’action automatisée de ces instruments nécessite une perspective large : il s’agit de resserrer la focale afin d’embrasser la cohérence stratégique des éléments en ligne et hors ligne et ainsi caractériser les articulations entre une intelligence « artificielle » et « humaine ». Au final, l’article insiste sur l’exigence analytique d’appréhender ce type d’agencement à l’aune des conditions sociales de sa réalisation.

Based on a monograph on the logistical and managerial organization of an online media, this article presents an example of a productive model governed in part by a set of software agents. They are notably “delegated” to them a certain number of decisions concerning production as well as the valuation of activities. In doing so, they help to significantly configure the professional practices of the personnel of the media in question. However, the article maintains that the understanding of the automated action of these instruments requires a broad analytical perspective: it is a question of tightening the focal in order to embrace the strategic coherence of the elements online and offline and thus characterize the articulations between “artificial” and “human” intelligence. In the end, the article insists on the analytical requirement to understand this type of arrangement with regard to the social conditions of its production.
