This book focuses on the concept of Bahujan literature. This concept seeks commonality in the literature of all the deprived sections on the basis of their social background. However, it takes into account the author's thoughts as well as the social background. Thus, in the Indian context, Bahujan literature is the shared literature of Dalits, Adivasis, OBCs, Pasmanda Muslims, nomadic Tribes, other converted minorities, third genders, etc. Along with this, it also includes writers with progressive thoughts from all communities.The Bahujan concept, in its basic form, urges us to see the marginalized sections on a global scale.Articles describing the history of this concept in Hindi literature have been compiled in this book.
