Ornella Zaza, « La “smart city”, dall’immaginario urbano alle logiche di mercato del digitale », HAL-SHS : architecture, ID : 10670/1.k719of
The production of new “urban smart solutions” (products or services) seems to blur more and more the distinction between the “public” and the “private” categories, generating new forms of multi-actors partnership (Pinson, 2006). Thanks to an ethnographic fieldwork of three years, we have observed different situations (Pétonnet, 1982) in which the evolution of actors’ networks shown the urban transformation’s processes due to the “digital revolution”. In this article we will explain the way public authorities influence the construction of multi-actors’ networks, urbanising the “smart city”imaginary and playing a key role as the mediator of “co-construction” (Akrich, 2013) processes. Thus, the logics of production, applied to an interdisciplinary object as the city, will bring players to cooperate, rather than compete, for the emergence of new digital urban “solutions”.
