Résumé
The varietal study of the Aljamiado texts dialect is one of the most well settled field, thanks to Á. Galmes de Fuentes and his disciples, the "Escuela de Oviedo". The characteristics and the status of the language of this text, so apparently hybrid, have puzzled many researchers, even though, paradoxically, the topic has lacked of deepening with synthetic studies in sociolinguistics or comparative ones in dialectology—with some outstanding exceptions. This "Islamic variant of Spanish", expression coined by Hegyi in his time, has recently been considered in its context of use and elaboration.
