L’auteur retrace les grandes lignes de la théorie freudienne de la trace, qui permet de penser comment un « matériau brut » se transforme en représentation. S’appuyant sur cette théorie, l’auteur propose alors de penser le maniement du transfert psychotique sous l’angle des traces sensorielles et de leur transformation possible grâce à ce travail largement inconscient du psychanalyste que l’on pourrait définir comme une « disposition à la figurabilité ».

The author retraces the leading lines of the Freudian theory of trace : this leads to think how a « raw material » is transformed into representation. Basing herself on this theory, the author consequently proposes to think the handling of the psychotic transference from the point of view of the sensorial traces and their transformation. This transformation is made possible thanks to this largely unconscious specific work of the psychoanalyst that could be defined as a « disposition to figurability ».
