Résumé En

« Iudicia : judgments of value in the scholia to Olympian Odes » Through the study of praise and blame terms in the scholia, we may see more precisely the finality of the commentaries : far from aiming at amending Pindar’s poetical language, the commentators try to make it easier of access and understanding. They have the clear feeling of the specificity and polysemia of the text. The normative remarks relative to grammar, syntax or style concern, not Pindar himself, but the students or well-read men to whom are intended the commentaries : these people, as they initiate themselves to Pindar’s poetics, must learn more deeply the good use of their language.
