Résumé 0

We present the methodological principles of qualitative narrative collection combining interviews with images with thematic content (projective interviewing method adapted for use with the image classification test). In this article, which focuses on the lived experience of ill-being, we first present the principles of projective interviewing, followed by the rationale behind the choice of the image classification test (nine images representing human bodies associated with medicine, illness, and suffering), a test we initially applied to alcoholics and carers specializing in alcoholism and pneumology. Finally, we outline the new ways in which this test, coupled with projective interviewing, could be administered on an individual and group basis in the fields of research, training, prevention, and care. The proposed method could be transposed to themes other than ill-being, provided that new images are associated with it.
