The use of films, as a didactic resource, has been explored in teaching for some time. In this sense, this article presents possibilities of using the film “The King Lion”, combined with resources of information and communication technologies (TIC), for Science teaching. The film hasseveral possibilities for Science teaching, covering concepts such as ecology, genetics, heredity, animal life cycle, ecological relationships, among others. As an activity, we suggest the presentation of the film “The King Lion” and later, the creation of online infographics by students, so that they build a synthesis of what they considered most relevant. The playfulness of the films, combined with a well-structured planning and with clear objectives from the teachers, provides to students a understanding about proposed content with greater ease and enthusiasm. In addition, the production of online infographics allows the protagonism and authorship of students in the construction of knowledge, considering their time, their understanding in relation to the world and the process of its own intellectual growth. It also allows teachers to identify the learning built by students about concepts studied.
