In this article, we evaluated 60 days interaction between public and newspapers, based on the error detection by the reader. The review period was from October 1 to November 29, 2014, in Santa Catarina fanpages major newspapers: The News, Santa Catarina Diary, Day News Journal and Santa Catarina. In the period, 4892 news, which identified 233 participations in the comments on errors, with 132 different errors in 116 news. In addition to this analysis, we interviewed five editors responsible for social networks or online relationship with their audiences. The results indicate the working conditions of vehicles and their responses or attitudes against the appointment of failures and missteps.
