Στο νάρθηκα και στο καθολικό της μονή Sucevica στη Μολβαδία υπάρχουν δύο παραστάσεις της Θείας Σοφίας. Η πρώτη του νάρθηκα απεικονίζει τον Χριστό-Σοφία σε μια παράσταση ευχαριστιακού περιεχομένου, ενώ η δεύτερη στον νότιο τοίχο εντός του ιερού βήματος και παριστά τον Άγγελο-Θεία Σοφία σε μια σύνθεση Δέησης με την Παναγία και τον Πρόδρομο. Η εικονογραφική ανάλυση των παραστάσεων φανερώνει ότι αυτές έχουν εμπνευστεί από ρωσικές εικόνες του 15ουαιώνα. Παράλληλα, σε ένα ευρύτερο ιστορικό πλαίσιο, συνάγεται ότι αυτή την τάση για έμφαση στη Θεία Σοφία ανήκει σε ένα ασκητικό-μυστικιστικό ρεύμα που ήταν σε έξαρση κατά τον 16ο αιώνα, σε συνδυασμό με θέσπιση της γιορτής της Θείας Σοφίας στις 15 Αυγούστου από τον αρχιεπίσκοπο του Νόβγκοροντ Γεννάδιο. 

At the narthex and at the katholikon of the monastery of Sucevica in Moldavia there are two representations of the Holy Wisdom. The first at the narthex represents Christ-Holy Wisdom in a scene with a Eucharistic content, while the second one on the south wall of the sanctuary represents the Angel-Holy Wisdom in a Deesis scheme with the Virgin and Saint John the Baptist. The iconographic analysis of the images reveals that the frescoes of Sucevica were heavily influenced by Russian icons of the 15th century. At the same time in a broader historical context, it is ascertained that this trend of emphasis to the Holy Wisdom belonged to an ascetic-mystical current that was on the rise during the 16th century, along with the institution of the feast of the Holy Wisdom on the 15th of August by the archbishop of Novgorod Gennadius.
