Identity of xHalimiocistus taxa is reviewed with new interpretation of eight of them which appear not to be hybrids, revision of identity of Halimium multiflorum (Dun.) Willk., description of two new nothotaxa and new data for a discussion on separation between the genera Cistus and Halimium.

Révision de l’identité des xHalimiocistus avec nouvelle interprétation de huit taxons dont l’origine hybride est rejetée, révision de l’identité d'Halimium multiflorum (Dun.) Willk., description de deux nothotaxons nouveaux et remise en question des caractères distinctifs classiques entre les genres Cistus et Halimium.
