Résumé
Whereas Ćosić inhabited the upper reaches of power in Yugoslavia, Borislav Mihajlović Mihiz was banished from its margins to its backwoods. Following his flirtations with Djilasism and its namesake, he left his comfortable perch at NIN for the directorship of the Matica Srpska library, which he held from 1956 to 1960.
