Résumé
An adhesion of minorities, As an Armenian of the Turkish nationality, Hrant Dink (the director of the publication Agos, a daily newspaper in Istanbul, published in Turkish and Armenian) believes that the adhesion of Turkey to the European Union will guarantee the liberty of religion and the survival of the ethnic minorities in the country. He considers, however, that the recognition by Ankara of the genocide of the Armenian people by the Ottoman Empire in 1915 should not be a condition for Turkey’s entry into the Union.
