Within the framework of the "Comon" project, three sites were chosen to study the functioning of an-cestral mechanisms of collective use of mountain land that still exist in Savoie in the interstices of current French legislation, and consequently of the dominant model of communal property. This study seeks to verify the relevance of the perpetuation of such institutions, apparently inherited from a by-gone age in the first decades of the 21st century (i.e. a private land "moral" body in Saint Gingolph, a "section de commune" in Faverges-Seythenex and a range of "communaux cultifs" in Saint-Alban-des-Villards). For this purpose, it proposes an analysis of the traditional structures of collective ownership developed from the north to the south of the Savoie region in very different natural environments and of an equally divergent legal nature in order to evoke the respective merits of various forms of com-munity logic which are here very conditioned by the Alpine environment.

Dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre du projet « Comon », trois sites d’étude du fonctionnement de mécanismes ancestraux d’usage collectif du sol montagnard subsistant en Savoie dans les interstices de la législation française actuelle, et par conséquent du modèle dominant de la propriété communale, ont été choisis. Afin de vérifier la pertinence de la perpétuation de telles institutions apparemment héritées d’un âge révolu dans les premières décennies du XXIe siècle (soit une « société » foncière privée à Saint-Gingolph, une section de commune à Faverges-Seythenex et un ensemble de « communaux cultifs » à Saint-Alban-des-Villards), cette étude propose l’analyse de structures traditionnelles de propriété collective développées du nord au sud de l’espace savoyard dans des milieux naturels très différents et d’une nature juridique également divergente afin de parvenir à l’évocation des mérites respectifs de diverses formes de logiques communautaires ici ouvertement conditionnées par le milieu alpin.

Nell’ambito del progetto "Comon", tre siti sono stati scelti per studiare il funzionamento dei meccanismi ancestrali di uso collettivo delle terre di montagna che esistono ancora in Savoia negli interstizi della legislazione francese attuale, e di conseguenza del modello dominante di proprietà comune. Per verificare la pertinenza della perpetuazione di tali istituzioni apparentemente ereditate da un’epoca passata nei primi decenni del XXI secolo (cioè una « società » fondiaria privata a Saint-Gingolph, una "section de commune" a Faverges-Seythenex e un set di "communaux cultifs" a Saint-Alban-des-Villards), questo studio propone l’analisi delle strutture tradizionali di proprietà collettiva sviluppatesi dal nord al sud dell’area savoiarda in ambienti naturali molto diversi e di natura giuridica altrettanto divergente per evocare i rispettivi meriti delle varie forme di logiche comunitarie qui apertamente condizionate dall’ambiente alpino
