Partant d’une suggestion de Lacan qui considérait que l’hystérie répond à une géométrie de sacs et de cordes, ce texte explore les résonances de l’hystérie sous l’angle du nouage borroméen. La corde de l’inconscient vibre, comme toute corde, avec un ventre et des nœuds.On peut donc situer ces ventres et ces nœuds de jouissance dans la chaîne borroméenne et comprendre, selon ce principe, comment se noue le symptôme hystérique et l’effet de l’interprétation analytique.

Starting from a suggestion by Lacan that hysteria responds to a geometry of bags and strings, this text explores the resonances of hysteria from the perspective of borromean knotting. The string of the unconscious vibrates, like any string, with loop and knots.We can therefore situate these loops and knots of jouissance in the borromean chain and understand, according to this principle, how the hysterical symptom is knotted and how works the analytic interpretation.
