L’auteur s’appuie sur son expérience de formatrice en Gestalt-thérapie, principalement en Espagne pour mettre en forme ce qui lui semble essentiel dans le processus de formation. Dans une dynamique figure/fond, l’auteure développe les différents aspects qui viennent en figure au cours de la formation : l’acquisition de ressources théoriques, l’expérience de vie, les valeurs, l’appartenance communautaire, la fonction sociale et politique du thérapeute. Elle termine en posant un regard plus global sur la fonction de formateur.

Some Thoughts on Training in Gestalt Therapy The author draws on her experience as a trainer in Gestalt-therapy, mainly in Spain, to give shape to what seems essential in the training process. In the dynamic process of figure/background, the author explores the various aspects that come to the forefront (figure) during training : the acquisition of theoretical resources, life experiences, values, community belonging, social and political function of the therapist. She ends by asking a more general look at the training function.
