Les marches exploratoires de femmes. Quand un dispositif à visée participative renforce le pouvoir d’agir des professionnels de l’action sociale

Lorsque le gouvernement français lance, en 2013, l’expérimentation des marches exploratoires de femmes dans 12 villes, l’objectif est double : favoriser la participation citoyenne des femmes des quartiers prioritaires et leur permettre de réinvestir l’espace public. Cet article interroge l’impact de ce dispositif auprès du public auquel il s’adresse et auprès des professionnels de l’action sociale qui l’ont porté sur les territoires. Si la participation est l’objectif premier, une triple injonction opère auprès des habitantes : de participation, d’autonomie et d’émancipation. De plus, ce dispositif renforce le pouvoir d’agir des professionnels qui ont été formés à la méthodologie des marches exploratoires, accroissant leur légitimité et leur assise sur le territoire.

The exploratory walks of Women. When a system with participative aim reinforces the power to act of professionals of social actionWhen the French government starts in 2013, the experiment of exploratory walks of women in 12 towns, the objective is double: promote the citizen participation of women in priority areas and help them to reinvest the public space. This article questions the impact of this system with the public which it is addressed to and to the professionals of social action who have work on it in the areas. If participation is the main objective, a triple injunction occurs on the women: participation, autonomy and emancipation. Moreover, this system reinforces the power to act of professionals who have been trained to this methodology of exploratory walks, increasing their legitimacy and their base on the territory.
