Lors d’interventions en clinique de l’activité auprès d’éboueurs, nous avons fait le constat qu’ils font preuve d’une grande inventivité dans leur travail quotidien. Ils créent notamment certains de leurs outils de travail. L’usage par catachrèse qu’ils font alors des déchets renvoie à une création de buts nouveaux en cours d’activité et permet de répondre à d’autres préoccupations que celles liées à la tâche. Ils conçoivent l’organisation du travail du binôme lors de la collecte. Laissée par le prescripteur à la main des éboueurs comme une organisation contextuelle, elle stabilise pourtant des règles de métier, des automatismes communs. Ces inventions ne sont pas indépendantes de l’organisation prescrite (que ce soient les artefacts, les règles de sécurité, l’ordre ou les modes opératoires). Elle est « en dialogue » avec cette organisation prescrite et ceux qui l’élaborent. C’est pourquoi il nous semble que cette réorganisation par les éboueurs est facilitée quand ils ont une prescription à laquelle ils peuvent répliquer et à laquelle en retour répond la prescription. Nous poserons qu’elle est la condition pour que les éboueurs puissent en tentant de « faire du bon boulot » subvertir leur « sale boulot ».
During interventions in occupational clinic among dustmen, we reported that they show a great inventiveness in their daily work. They notably create some of their working tools. The catachrestical use they thus do of the waste echoes a creation of new goals in the course of their activity and allows them to meet other preoccupations than the ones linked to the task. They conceive the work organisation of the binomial during the collect. Left in the hand of dustmen by the prescriber, as a contextual organisation, the collect however stabilises some rules of the job, some common automatisms. These inventions aren’t independent from the prescribed organisation (be they artefacts, security rules, order or operating procedures). They are “dialoguing” with the prescribed organisation and those who work it out. Therefore, it seems to us that this reorganisation by the dustmen is facilitated when they have a prescription to which they can respond, a response to which, in turn, the prescription can respond. We shall claim that it is the condition for dustmen to try to “make a good job” in subverting their “dirty work”.
ResumenTras intervenciones en clínica de la actividad con recolectores de basura, comprobamos que tienen una gran capacidad de inventiva en su trabajo cotidiano. Notablemente crean algunas de sus herramientas de trabajo. El uso característico que hacen con los desechos, conduce a creación de nuevos logros dentro de su actividad y permite responder a otras preocupaciones distintas a aquellas ligadas al trabajo. Conciben la organización del trabajo en binomio en la recolección. Dejada por quien prescribe el trabajo de los recolectores como una organización contextual, se estabiliza como suma de reglas del oficio, automatismo en comunes. Estos inventos no son independientes de la organización prescrita (bien sean los artefactos, las reglas de seguridad, el orden o los modos de operación). Se está “en diálogo” con esa organización prescrita y quienes las elaboran. Es por esto que nos parece que esta reorganización hecha por los recolectores, se facilita cuando tiene una prescripción frente a la cual pueden replicar, réplica a la cual la prescripción igualmente puede responder. De este modo nos preguntaremos sobre la condición que le permite a los recolectores haciendo “un buen trabajo” subvertir su “trabajo sucio”.
