Résumé
This paper aims to analyze the atmospheric heat island and the surface temperatures of the agglomeration of Rennes, located in western France. To this end, it was analyzed data representative of the summer season of 2004 and 2006 taken from weather stations and thermal band of Landsat 5. This data set allowed us to correlate, in a preliminary way, the two thermal variables, obtaining values 0.77 and 0.66.
