Based on three narratives from Clarice Lispector's work Laços de família: “Uma galinha”, “A menor mulher do mundo” and “O crime do professor de matemática”, this analysis considers how Clarice Lispector portrays the relationship between man and animal. It focuses in particular on the transfers of attitude and affect. It demonstrates a kind of mobility that can lead to each nature's confusion and illustrates the dialogue that takes place between animals and humans. It reveals the deep meaning of human nature or, in other words, it makes it intelligible, through a process of mirroring and mimicry, this is what we will call reversibility: the ability to experience this transformation, to disclose the interiority of the individual, to access his or her profound identity and the secret of life and creation, though in a fleeting way.

Partant de trois récits issus de l’œuvre Laços de família, de Clarice Lispector : « Uma galinha », « A menor mulher do mundo » et « O crime do professor de matemática », cette analyse considère la manière dont Clarice Lispector figure les relations entre l’homme et l’animal. Elle s’attache en particulier aux transferts de comportements et d’affects qui démontrent une forme de mobilité pouvant engendrer des confusions de nature, et illustrent ainsi le dialogue qui se noue entre les animaux et les hommes.
