The National Commission against Genocide, Context and PerspectivesRwanda, post-genocide is rebuilt in a framework characterized by the coexistence of survivors and perpetrators. Thus the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the country is going through struggle with genocidal ideology. The National Commission Against Genocide is specifically involved in various areas with the purpose of creating a future unified Rwandan society. These areas include the identification and preservation of genocidal sites, issues of commemoration, and the politics of memory designed to fight revisionism and genocidal ideology.
