"Physician and Slave : Dependency Relationships in Greek Medicine". The aim of this paper is to analyze the social interaction of the Hippocratic physicians. My interpretation of Plato’s Laws, 720 a. C and selected medical records of the Hippocratic treatise Epidemics is a revision of some misleading approaches to the attitude of physicians towards the poor.
