This is the blog of COMMode, a research team based at the University of Bern. We are investigating the transmission and reception of Geoffrey Chaucer’s obscene humour from 1700 to the present day. The purpose of this blog is to track the progress of the team’s three researchers as they pursue their interrelated research projects over the next four years.
