This is the first part of Pramod Ranjan's Hindi reportage on the 2003 violence in Manipur.Pramod Ranjan has been deeply familiar with Manipur. In this, he has created an informative, sensitive, touching and thought-provoking narrative linking the ongoing violence in Manipur with the changes taking place in the history, culture and society of Northeast India.

मणिपुर में 2003 में हुई हिंसा पर केंद्रित प्रमोद रंजन के हिंदी-रिपोर्ताज का यह पहला हिस्सा है।प्रमोद रंजन मणिपुर से गहराई परिचित रहे हैं। उन्होंने इसमें मणिपुर में जारी हिंसा को पूर्वोत्तर भारत के इतिहास, संस्कृति और समाज में आ रहे परिवर्तनों से जोड़ते हुए सूचनापरक, संवेदनशील, मर्मस्पर्शी और विचारोत्तेजक आख्यान रचा है।
