Résumé
This is a re-reading of Paul Valéry’s poetics made in dialogue with another re-reading, the one that Patrice Maniglier, in his book La Vie énigmatique des signes, makes of the symbolist heritage in Saussurre’s structural linguistics. We thus expect to observe more precisely the ideia and the act of the modulation conceived by Valery in his cahiers, as well as to expose the poetic and political implications of the ontological equivocity of the sign, as it is explained by Maniglier.
