Is the style a predisposition of the writer or the result of a practice, even of an apprenticeship? The originality of this thesis is to attempt to answer this very frequent question by criticism through the study and practice of literary pastiche.After having identified the notions of our subject such as that of "pastiche" and related notions relating to intertextuality (plagiarism, parody, quotation, reference, rewriting, hypertextuality, transtextuality, etc.), we propose a definition of style who will be informed both by the results of theoretical research commonly called "state of the art", by an experience as a facilitator of writing workshops in the Literary Creation Master of the University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès and by a personal creative writing practice. This thesis is, in fact, accompanied by a novel, L'[H]ermite, presented as a work that puts into practice the theory that we are advancing. Likewise, we will attach texts written by the students, in order to broaden the sampling of our examples. Finally, we will study the contribution of the genetics of texts from the perspective of literary pastiche and personal writing. In this thesis, theory and practice intertwine, combine and allow to open the reflection towards new theoretical horizons.This work is thus part of the emerging field of studies of theory and practice of literary creation. In this perspective, we study the emergence of the literary writing workshop within the university and we observe its evolution, from a marginal exercise, to a more common practice, even a field of study in its own right. . , carrying new theses and new academic paths.

Le style est-il une prédisposition de l'écrivain ou le résultat d'une pratique, voire d'un apprentissage ? L'originalité de cette thèse est de tenter de répondre à cette question bien fréquente par la critique par le biais de l'étude et de la pratique du pastiche littéraire.Après avoir cerné les notions de notre sujet telles que celle de "pastiche" et les notions connexes, relatives à l'intertextualité (plagiat, parodie, citation, référence, réécriture, hypertextualité, transtextualité, etc.), nous proposons une définition du style qui sera informé à la fois par le résultat de recherches théoriques communément appelées "état de l'art", par une expérience d'animatrice d'ateliers d'écriture dans le Master Création Littéraire de l'Université de Toulouse-Jean Jaurès et par une pratique d'écriture créative personnelle. Cette thèse est, en effet, accompagnée d'un roman, L'[H]ermite, présenté comme un travail qui met en pratique la théorie que nous avançons. De même, nous joindrons des textes écrits par les étudiants, afin d'élargir l'échantillonnage de nos exemples. Enfin, nous étudierons l'apport de la génétique des textes dans la perspective du pastiche littéraire et de l'écrit personnel. Dans cette thèse, théorie et pratique s'entremêlent, se combinent et permettent d'ouvrir la réflexion vers de nouveaux horizons théoriques.Ce travail s'inscrit ainsi dans le champ émergent des études de théorie et pratique de la création littéraire. Dans cette perspective, nous étudions l'émergence de l'atelier d'écriture littéraire au sein de l'université et nous observons son évolution, d'un exercice marginal, vers une pratique plus courante, voire un champ d'études à part entière. , portant de nouvelles thèses et de nouveaux parcours académiques.
