Résumé
This paper is about the teaching of the Filipino language to French students at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Cultures (Inalco) in Paris. The first part of the contribution presents the Filipino section of the Southeast Asian and Pacific Languages department: who are the students and who are the teachers? The second part gives the teaching proceedings, and the third points out the problems encountered in teaching French students or foreigners, and the weaknesses that can be improved.
