Four booksellers catalogues from 1591 to 1608 published in Lyon, Venice and Florence by the Giunta, family of transnational trade in the Renaissance, show a variety of typologies and careful indexation systems, which appears even in their laconic style of describing books. Catalogues can adapt their schemes to the variety of goods and conditions. By the catalogues, business and publishing policies of booksellers are also detected, especially for Lyons firm.
