Marques Lopes Marta Julia, « Division du travail et rapports sociaux de sexe : une étude sur les travailleuses des soins de santé au Brésil », Face à face, ID : 10670/1.s5abti
This article deals with the "feminine" care professions, collected under the general term of nursing, in the context of Brazil, and focussing on the social gender relations that are involved. The author attempts to show to what extent the professional roles assigned to female health care personnel, which include the notion of "taking care", are stamped with a socially constructed notion in relation to male and female figures based on the attribution of "qualities" that society believes "come naturally" to males or females. The author also considers what she calls "work gender", highlighting to what extent the elements that make up the conceptions of men's work and women's work are found in the wider sphere of the health care professions.
