Résumé 0

School may be associated with suffering for children, or even with provoking child psychiatry disorders. This is what is observed in anxious school refusal and in school violence, particularly with school bullying. Anxious school refusal is characterized by a sudden and intense fear of going to school in a child without previous problems at school and who remains interested in education. School bullying is repeated verbal, physical, or psychological violence perpetrated by one or more pupils against another pupil who cannot defend himself or herself. This is increasingly taking the form of cyberbullying. Whether it concerns anxious school refusal or school violence, child psychiatry should, in the interest of the child, be able to collaborate with the school under certain conditions.
