Résumé 0

"This article offers a fast but concise vision of the jurisdictional organ of the Andean Community (CAN). The Introduction refers to the emergence of the Tribunal. The first part highlights the norms that constitute the juridical ordaining of the CAN. The second part explains the structure of the Tribunal, in relation with the magistrates that comprise it, its relation to other important officials, and how it works. The third part exposes the competencies that are attributed in the Protocol of Cochabamba (1996) to the Tribunal; moreover, it emphasizes the six recourses that may be exercised, who can exercise them, against what acts, actions and omissions and what goal is pursued with the utilization of these procedures. Lastly, Conclusions point out the importance of this organ in the correct interpretation and application of the Community juridical ordaining and its contribution to the consolidation of the CAN."
