"The Album from Herculaneum : Not Junian Latins but Trimalchios". This paper deals with the names registered as incerti (lacking either filiation or “ libertination”) in the Album from Herculaneum. They cannot be identified as Junian Latins, either promoted or not, but they may have been freedmen without a patron, the same condition Trimalchio himself shared.
