Rêverie d’un Harpagon « sex-addict » à Lascaux

L’auteur, psychologue en institution psychiatrique de secteur, s’interroge sur son travail de psychothérapeute à partir du cas d’un patient « sex-addict ». Un travail d’élaboration théorico-clinique à partir de son identification au patient est ici proposé. Cette élaboration s’opère dans un dialogue avec la culture, notamment l’art pariétal et la littérature. Il conceptualise une forme de jouissance contemporaine, la jouissance d’Harpagon, et invite le lecteur à inventer des relations humaines où cette jouissance laisserait de la place à de l’inédit dans l’expérience subjective singulière.

The author of this paper is a psychologist in a psychiatric institution and in this paper explores the role of the psychotherapist from the perspective of a clinical case with a ‘sex-addicted’ patient. A theoretical-clinical analysis rooted in identification with the patient is outlined here. The analysis also establishes links with culture, and more specifically cave art and literature. It provides a conceptualisation of a form of contemporary jouissance which might be defined as the ‘jouissance of Harpagon’ and invites the reader to invent human relationships in which this form of jouissance would allow for originality within singular subjective experiences.
