Résumé
This study continues a paper presented at the 15th International Colloquium on Latin Linguistics (Innsbruck, April 4-9, 2009): “Évolution de quo(=)modo du latin préclassique au latin postclassique”. Our aim is to check whether all the uses of quo(=)modo that appeared from the 3rd century B.C. to the 2nd century A.D. were still attested in the 4th century in Lucifer’s pamphletary treatises. May certain basic uses of quo(=)modo have disappeared? Which new contextual senses have developed in specific clausal structures? Is it possible that biblical quotations in the textual corpus present some particular uses of quo(=) modo?
