Patrice Cressier et al., « La “qubba” funeraria del sultán Abū l-Ḥasan en Šālla (Rabat, Marruecos) », HAL-SHS : histoire, ID : 10670/1.tm2dv5
The “qubba” of Abū l-Ḥasan is one of the key buildings in the program carried out by the sultan to expand and monumentalize the dynastic necropolis of Šālla, funerary and reli¬gious complex established by stages in Rabat, at the gates of the city, half a century before. The refinement and the rigor of its ornamentation make it a milestone in Western Islamic architecture. We have undertaken its analysis from several points of view: formal, geometric, constructive and decorative. It provides a new and detailed mapping of development itself, which serves as a basis for the study. It gives particular attention to epigraphy, in its current conservation status, and the supporting elements.
