This article gives an overview of the new tools and institutional resources made accessible to researchers working on literature from the Czech lands written in German. Following the introduction of the ‘spatial turn’ in this research field in the past decades and the opening of the archives since the end of the communist era, new categories of scholarly analysis have emerged and interdisciplinary and international cooperation projects were developed. The article is also an opportunity to present the scholars who contributed to this issue of Études Germaniques as well as the changes which reshaped their research field in Prague and in the Czech lands.

Der Beitrag bietet einen Überblick über die neuen Mittel und Institutionen, die den an der deutschsprachigen Literatur in den Böhmischen Ländern interessierten Germanisten zur Verfügung stehen. Im Anschluss an das Modell des in den letzten Jahrzehnten von der Forschung zu diesem Bereich übernommenen spatial turn sind neue Analysekategorien entwickelt worden sowie interdisziplinäre und internationale Kooperationen entstanden, die vorhin wegen des bedingten Zugangs zum Archivgut und versperrter Grenzen unmöglich waren. Die Beiträger zu dem vorliegenden Themenheft der Études Germaniques werden hier im Rahmen des veränderten Forschungsfelds in Prag und den Böhmischen Ländern vorgestellt.
