"The socioeconomic performance of blacks in Cali is strongly related not only with your own educationand skills but also with education and skills from your parents and the social groups whichthey have interactions. In that way, the different characteristics social, cultural and economicsdetermine in many aspects which will be the level of social mobility of the sons and grandsons inthe future stablishing the different levels of mobility that they will have. This paper determines theincidence of ethnic capital on the Human Capital accumulation on the afrocolombians populationin Cali as a measurement of racial discrimination through an econometric model of social mobilitywhich incorpores the ethnic capital as a different element from the tradition. I found that there isnot racial discrimination in Cali for the afrocolombians who have interactions with people fromother races, while for the others there is."
