Pedro Simón de Vicente Rodríguez et al., « ETHICAL DIMENSIONS OF TEACHING IN THE CAREER “FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY” », HAL-SHS : sciences de l'éducation, ID : 10.1080/11358120309487612
The overall purpose of this research was to analyse the ethical dimensions of the deontological codes of the university career «Food Science and Technology». We studied the relations between the real and the ideal, between that specified in the deontological codes and the classroom reality of those students undertaking courses pertaining to the aforementioned degree in the University of Granada. From the results obtained through statistical processing applied to the data gained through stocktaking of deontological beliefs, it is possible to infer that, in general terms, the students value the declared principles as «very important». However, they consider that in their university education, they were never taught about almost half of the deontological principles. Finally, we present some improvement proposals based on the results of the analysis carried out.
