Sylvie Rivot et al., « Macroeconomic statics and dynamics in a historical perspective », HAL-SHS : économie et finance, ID : 10.1080/09672567.2020.1780750
The purpose of this EJHET special issue is to investigate the ways in which economists have treated questions related to statics and dynamics throughout history: how they first addressed the issue in terms of adjustment processes; how they distinguished between dynamics and optimisation programmes, or between dynamics and stability issues; or how they later integrated these concerns in their macroeconometric models, etc. The eight papers in this issue are based on presentations that have been made at the workshop “Macroeconomics: Dynamic Histories. When Statics is no longer enough”, which took place at the Université de Haute-Alsace in Colmar, 16–18 May 2019.
