Nicholas of Cusa and the So-called Cologne School of the 13th and 14th Centuries

L’article aborde, d’un point de vue historique et d’après l’étude des manuscrits, la question du rapport entre Nicolas de Cues († 1464) et ladite « École de Cologne » – Albert le Grand, Ulrich de Strasbourg, Hugues Ripelin de Strasbourg, Dietrich de Freiberg, Maître Eckhart et Berthold de Moosburg. Dans cette approche, sont soulignés quelques moments de la vie de Nicolas de Cues, en particulier l’amitié avec Heymeric de Campo entre 1425 et 1429, le débat avec Johannes Wenck (1442 à 1449) et la rencontre avec Denys le Chartreux en 1451.

Considering the historical background and the transmission of the manuscripts, the paper discusses the relations between Nicholas of Cusa († 1464) and the so-called « Cologne School » – Albert the Great, Ulrich of Straβburg, Hugo Ripelin of Straβburg, Dietrich of Freiberg, Meister Eckhart and Berthold of Moosburg. With this approach are highlighted a few moments of the life of Nicholas of Cusa, especially the friendship with Heymeric de Campo between 1425 and 1429, the debate with Johannes Wenck (1442 to 1449) and the meeting with Dionysius the Carthusian in 1451.

L’articolo affronta dal punto di vista storico e della trasmissione dei manoscritti la questione della relazione tra Nicola Cusano († 1464) e la cosiddetta « Scuola di Colonia » – Alberto Magno, Ulrico di Strasburgo, Ugo Ripelin di Strasburgo, Teodorico di Freiberg, Meister Eckhart e Bertoldo di Moosburg. In tale contesto vengono evidenziati alcuni momenti della biografia di Cusano, in particolare l’amicizia con Eimerico da Campo tra il 1425 e il 1429, il dibattito con Johannes Wenck (1442-1449) e l’incontro con Dionigi il Certosino nel 1451.
