La méthode analytique a pour but d’arriver à saisir le système complexe de représentations dans l’appareil psychique, ainsi que donner libre cours aux frayages que les pensées inconscientes parcourent. La libre association du côté de l’analysant et l’attention librement flottante du côté de l’analyste, facilitent cette technique. Pour y arriver, il faut un entraînement dans l’improvisation. Car le concept d’improvisation définit très bien la technique de l’association libre : la capacité de « composer et de s’exprimer simultanément » comme dans la poésie sonore où il n’y a pas de différence entre signifiant et signifié, et l’art de l’improvisation musicale comme un savoir-faire avec la libre association. Nous proposons d’apprendre cette méthode pour la séance analytique : c’est-à-dire de parler et penser en même temps.

The analytical method aims to get to understand the complex system of representations in the mental process of the human being, and unleash the facilitations that unconscious thoughts roam.
