Not all past was better and in some circumstances certain things could remain in the inkwell. For that reason we present the information of a marine fishers, hunters and gatherers settlement placed in the Antofagasta littoral which was excavated in the seventies, a site from which we still knowalmost nothing, and we do it for the importance that it have in association with other near sites in the delineation of the settlement patterns and social organization of this littoral groups. Get back to those pass topics is what gives dynamics to our scientific discipline and which allow it not stagnatein interpretive swamps. Part of this dynamism lies in accumulate an empirical base that support the large scale interpretations, hence the importance of returning to discuss the archaeological sites and artifacts
