This thesis modestly presents an overview of a war that has structured and energized, since antiquity, every Republic or πόλις (Plato, Heidegger, Boutot, 1987), in other words, "every state governed by laws" (Rousseau, 1762). Collaboration, dear to contemporary managerial and political discourse, provides an appropriate entry point for the study of a jus in bello intertwined with the "desire for constantly having more (pléonexia), a desire that all nature (physis) pursues as a good" (Plato, Republic, 359c), of which it formulates and formalizes the democratic-liberal provisions as a mechanized rupture or strategic virtuality (Rosati, 2009) in progress. Collaboration, which is structured by 1) basic communication, 2) shared work, as detachment or productive division of the subject, 3) limited task management (work-flow), and 4) access to unified useful knowledge (Levran, 1999), indeed erodes the pivotal sign-value of Political Economy, in other words, labor, as a "rupture [produced] under the pressure of external intervention" (Eskénazi, 2008), whose terminological variations also dialectically engage with alienation, mutilation, or functionalization and reassembly of the governed being (Ibid.) in the service of the attached State. The globalization of this contradiction in process (Marx, 1858) logically foreshadows the conclusions of Jacques Aubert, former prefect of Algeria, drawn in 1966, who recognize that "it is now the population [i.e., the citizen] itself that constitutes both the threat [i.e., terrorist] and the object to defend" (Rigouste, 2009).This security window of the capitalist aporia closes, indeed, on a "unified competition space" (Bourg, 2012), at the end of a first phase of (primitive) accumulation ; one that brings together challengers and resources alike, for a tournament (for "work in turn") or market, regardless of the activity concerned, whose (schumpeterian) provisions – in other words, valuing all "mobilizable human, material, and financial resources" to eliminate them proportionally to the increasing intensity of a confrontation held in closed domain(s) – virtualize the annihilation of all stakeholders (because they have taken sides) in the exchange - 1, in the end.
