Song Tan, « Analyse phonologique comparative entre le mandarin de Shenyang (nord-est de la Chine) et le mandarin standard », La linguistique, ID : 10670/1.vxajpa
This article presents the phonological differences between Standard Mandarin and Shenyang Mandarin which is a variety belonging to Northeastern Mandarin. The data come from the field research realized with the program of Safeguard the Chinese dialects carried out in the whole country since 2010 (in 2016 in Liaoning Province). The phonological system of Shenyang Mandarin is reduced compared to that of Standard Mandarin. In particular, we note the absence of /tʂ/ /tʂh/ /ʂ/ and /ʐ/; the absence of the variant [o] of the phonème /e/. The fact that the pitch level of each tone is lower than that of Standard Mandarin is also an evident feature. The explanations will be given in the course of our analysis. The phonological comparison of the mandarin in question emphasizes our reflections in both synchrony and diachrony for linguistic studies.
