« Sociologues au crida  » (Centre de Recherche et d’intervention sur la Démocratie et l’Autonomie) est extrait d’un texte, support du séminaire méthodologique (en 2000) de cette équipe du lsci/cnrs. Partant du type d’implication professionnelle de ses membres, il les situe d’abord dans la mouvance des collectifs de travail, ici dans le domaine d’une recherche qui se donne pour objet d’accompagner et de comprendre les initiatives d’économie sociale. Le texte soulève ensuite la question des « savoirs pertinents » visés par un tel projet, en référence aux approches multiréférencées mobilisées (recherche-action, interactionnisme symbolique, analyse institutionnelle, anthropologie économique…) non pour être « la voix des sans voix », mais pour « ouvrir la voie aux sans voix », créateurs d’activités en quête de légitimation. La démarche pose ainsi la démocratisation de la vie économique en exigence paradigmatique. Près de vingt ans après son élaboration, ce document vaut témoignage pour son approche et pour la contribution qu’il apporte à des questionnements qui restent actuels en 2019.

“Sociologists at the crida” (Centre for Research and Intervention in the Fields of Democracy and Autonomy) is taken from a text serving as a support for the methodological seminar (in 2000) of this lsci/cnrs team. Taking the type of professional involvement of its members as a starting-point, the text situates them first within the movement of the work collectives , here in the domain of a research project that has the aim of accompanying and understanding the initiatives of social economy. It then raises the question of the “pertinent forms of knowledge” concerned by such a project, with reference to multi-referenced approaches (action research, symbolic interactionism, institutional analysis, economic anthropology…), not in order to be “the voice of those without voices” but rather to “open the way for those without voices”, the creators of activities searching for legitimisation. The approach thus considers the democratisation of economic life as a paradigmatic requirement. Almost twenty years after its elaboration, this document is valuable as a testimony for its approach and the contribution it makes to questionings that are still of relevance in 2019.
