En se concentrant sur les flux financiers de la Société des nations (SDN), cet article contribue à l’histoire économique et financière des organisations internationales. Il démontre comment l’administration financière de la SDN a développé et géré ses différentes sources de revenus tout en faisant face à certaines difficultés de financement. En développant des procédés de revenus standardisés, le travail effectué par l’administration financière de la SDN est à considérer comme l’une des réussites importantes de la Société entre 1919 et 1933.

Focusing on the income streams of the League of Nations, this article contributes to the history of international organizations. It reveals how the Financial Administration of the League developed and managed its different income types, while simultaneously combating financial troubles. Overcoming them by developing standardized processes, the work of the financial administration is to be considered one of the main achievements of the League between 1919 and 1933.
