The philosopher Nick Walker articulates queer thinking and autistic thinking through the neuroqueer concept. The article pays tribute to her work, details the possible connections between these two forms of thinking in the light of the dynamics of mutual borrowing, convergence and intersectionality, and opens them up to thinking about the non-human and the earth. Stimming, for example, are much more than a discourse on norms: they propose, through this deviant use of the organs of control - hand, brain - another way of ‘understanding’ (in French ‘comprendre’ etymology is ’take with’) with the the links on earth, another way of inhabiting it.
