Dans cet article centré sur un cas clinique, l’auteur s’intéresse aux troubles dermatologiques et souligne qu’une demande d’ordre somatique gagnerait à être entendue dans un cadre thérapeutique la resituant dans l’histoire personnelle du sujet. Il s’agirait de passer du traitement du corps organique, corps réel, à l’écoute du corps signifiant, corps symbolique, sans pour autant négliger le corps imaginaire. La souffrance non prise en charge par la parole se répercutant souvent dans le corps, il s’agirait de réserver au sujet la possibilité d’une traduction langagière du trouble somatique pour l’inscrire dans une réflexion sur le désir subjectif et le rapport à l’Autre parental et l’Autre social.
