This contribution is part of my thesis work that aims to give children a voice in their useof school spaces. This work questions the habitability of school spaces by attempting togive - or give back - a voice to children in the study of pupils ; spatialities during lunchtimein three French primary and secondary schools. In so doing, this work questions thecategories - what are these categories and how are they mobilized - that are at work inthe study of students' spatialities as it is done today.
